Description from the website...

"Are you too busy? Do you feel overwhelmed? Are you constantly being pulled in too many different directions? Is it hard to find time for the things that really matter? Time management is more than just checking items off a to-do list or squeezing a few more minutes out of each day by multi-tasking. In fact, these activities can often be counterproductive. In order to increase effectiveness and restore your peace of mind, it is essential to clarify purpose, develop plans, prioritize activities, and proactively execute those priorities each day. This seminar will show you how to: 1. Develop a clear direction for your life; 2. Set and achieve meaningful goals; 3. Focus energy on high priority activities; 4. Align daily tasks with long-term objectives; and 5. Handle interruptions and other disruptions to careful planning."

"Relaxation & Breathing for Meditation"  (DVD)
by Rodney Yee

"A unique two-part program of supported yoga poses and breathing techniques"

Description from the website...

The importance of the breath is familiar to anyone who practices yoga, as is its significance in the pursuit of a deeper, more meditative state. But it never hurts to be reminded of that connection, especially as yoga's growing popularity has turned it in a more active, less contemplative direction. This DVD consists of two approximately 30-minute sections, one ("Conscious Relaxation") devoted to several easy, relaxation-inducing poses and the other ("Conscious Breahing") focusing entirely on the breath itself. (Also included are an 8-minute "guided meditation" and an interview with instructor Rodney Yee.) It's unlikely that you'll break a sweat, and you won't "go for the burn," as yoga practitioners seem intent on doing these days -- but you might reach a place of stillness that's considerably more profound."

"Total Relaxation: Healing Practices for Body, Mind & Spirit"  (Paperback)
by by John Harvey

"A sixty-minute CD containing four guided relaxation techniques is included at the back of this book"

Description from the website...

"Whether it shows up as lower-back pain, insomnia, low-level anxiety, or just general malaise, tension can grip our lives and keep us from living up to our full potential. Dr. John Harvey has organized his relaxation techniques into five different categories to help you discover where your tension resides. Using a symptom checklist, you can match your symptoms against the five levels of relaxation -- muscular, autonomic, emotional, mental, or spiritual - and learn the proven techniques that will guide you to a relaxed, tension-free state quickly and effectively. Some of these relaxation techniques have been practiced for centuries, some of them were developed by twentieth-century physicians who have researched the effects of prolonged stress on the human body, and some of them have been developed by Dr. Harvey himself, drawing on his years of treating patients worn out by the stress of everyday life."
